Faculty committees

The committees operating at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics play an important role in the professional and quality supervision of education and student affairs. The Quality Management and Evaluation Committee is responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality of education, while the Credit Transfer Committee examines the recognition of previously completed studies. The Academic Committee evaluates students’ academic progress and requests.

The work of these committees contributes to the transparency of the faculty’s operations and the enforcement of students’ interests.

Faculty quality management and evaluation committee

The Faculty Quality Management and Evaluation Committee, which is subordinate to the Faculty Council, is chaired by the Faculty Quality Management Representative.
The members of the Committee are representatives of each department.
The Quality Assignees of the Faculty and departments perform administrative and operational tasks.
The faculty representative works according to an annual work plan, which is aligned with the annual work plan of the University Quality Management and Assessment Committee. The chairperson draws up the Plan Based on proposals from the members.
Departmental Quality Officers prepare departmental quality improvement projects, annual management reviews, and the analysis and evaluation of the results of the reviews at the departmental level.

The Committee is responsible for ensuring the quality policy requirements of higher education in the teaching and research work of the Faculty. The members of the Committee have the right to study training and research documents and reports and to attend classes. The Committee is also responsible for drawing up the annual quality improvement project, preparing the annual management review, analyzing the review’s results, and making proposals for improving the quality management system.
The Committee meets at least once a year. It assesses the fulfillment of qualification requirements and the existence of personnel and material conditions, summarises the results of the teaching and research activities, evaluates the previous year’s activities, determines the next annual work plan, and prepares the yearly faculty self-evaluation for the Faculty Council. Annual periods are understood as academic years.
