International opportunities and scholarships

International scholarship programs such as Pannónia, CEEPUS, and Makovecz aim to provide our students with opportunities to gain academic or professional experience abroad. These programs not only support professional development, but also offer opportunities to learn about new cultures and build international relationships.

Participation contributes to the development of language skills and adaptability, which is also an advantage in the labor market. With a scholarship, students not only gain valuable experience but also competitive knowledge.

International scholarships

Pannónia scholarship

The Pannonia Scholarship Program offers students at Széchenyi István University the opportunity to gain international experience through study, research, or professional internships abroad. The program supports both short- and long-term mobility, encouraging students to broaden their academic and professional horizons. Its aim is to strengthen international cooperation, develop language and intercultural skills, and contribute to students' personal development and employability.

CEEPUS program

The aim of the CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) exchange program is to support student and teacher mobility between Central European higher education institutions, as well as the organization of special courses and student trips, thereby promoting the development of long-term professional cooperation and strengthening the strategic role of the region. The countries participating in the program include Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Makovecz Program

Széchenyi István University participates in the Makovecz Program, which supports student mobility through cooperation with Hungarian institutions abroad. Our partner institutions include Selye János University (Komárno, Slovakia), the Faculty of Central European Studies at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Nitra), and Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (Cluj-Napoca). The program offers opportunities for partial studies and research mobility.

International scholarship for foreign students

Széchenyi István University offers an exciting opportunity for foreign students who would like to spend one or two semesters in Győr during their studies. The Erasmus+ scholarship program not only provides financial support, but also creates a unique opportunity for our students to study in an international environment, learn about new cultures, and gain lifelong experiences. In addition to English-language courses, dormitory accommodation, a mentoring program, and a supportive community help students integrate.

A semester at Széchenyi University is not only a study experience, but also an adventure and a valuable investment in the future.
