Experience and Value – Széchenyi University's Talent Support Council Wraps Up the Academic Year

On 30 May 2025, the Talent Support Council of Széchenyi István University (SZETT) closed the academic year with a special program.

The traditional end-of-year event, titled “SZETT Experience Day”, offered participants a culturally and historically rich professional excursion filled with memorable experiences.

SZETT Experience Day

This year’s destination was the Bezerédj Castle and its surroundings in Ménfőcsanak, where students and lecturers had the opportunity to explore the region’s intellectual heritage. The program included a visit to the castle and chapel, as well as literary memorial rooms dedicated to Erzsébet Galgóczi and Vince Sulyok. Following this, Zsuzsanna Dr. Lanczendorfer gave a unique illustrated lecture on the life of János Ecker, complemented by a tasting of local culinary specialties. The day continued with a guided tour of the Ecker Villa, to which Zsuzsanna Dr. Lanczendorfer has a personal connection as an heir, enriching the visit with personal stories and historical context.

The goal of „SZETT Experience Day” was not only to close the academic year but also to strengthen the SZETT community and foster meaningful connections grounded in shared values. From the Kautz Faculty, Márta Prof. Dr. Szombathelyi Dr. Konczosné, Veronika Dr. Keller, Erzsébet Dr. Printz-Markó, and Sára Leona Simon joined the event.
