Final exam

The final exam for students in bachelor’s and master’s programs consists of two parts: thesis defense and a comprehensive oral exam.

The defense begins with a short opening and ends with the announcement of the results.

Thesis defense

In programmes where the final exam includes a complex oral exam, the thesis can only be defended if the complex exam has been passed.

During the thesis defense, the essence of the thesis must be presented in a presentation lasting approximately 10 minutes, followed by answering questions from the members of the final exam committee.

It is recommended to use the university presentation template to compile the presentation, but other templates of a similar standard may also be used.

Complex verbal exam

In bachelor’s and master’s programs, the final exam consists of a comprehensive verbal exam, during which students demonstrate their knowledge of the subject matter covered in the program.

In the 2017 sample curriculum for Business and Management, the final exam consists of the defense of a thesis and a comprehensive exam completed with a subject: Financial Management (KGNB_GETM024/KGLB_GETM024) and Business Analysis in Excel (KGNB_NETM045/KGLB_NETM045) subjects simple numerical average

Final exam schedule

The exact schedule will be published at least 10 days before the start of the current final exam period.

The schedule is preliminary in nature, and students who fail to complete all exams will be removed from the schedule based on the academic administrator’s notification.
