Successful Information Session Held for the CheckINN Revitalizátor Idea Competition
The information session for the CheckINN Revitalizátor idea competition was successfully held on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 15, in the ÚT-114 conference room. The CheckINN Tourism Innovation HUB team approached our university with the request to present this year’s competition to our students, and we were pleased to welcome them on campus.

During the session, Benedek Tóth-Korsós, innovation project manager, introduced the goals, structure, and new features of the 2025 competition. Now in its fourth year, the Revitalizátor innovation idea competition continues to focus on the touristic revitalization of abandoned or underused areas and properties, encouraging creative solutions at the intersection of tourism, architecture, and design.
Students from tourism and hospitality, as well as architecture programs, attended the presentation. They followed Benedek’s talk with great interest and active engagement. Their openness and enthusiasm clearly demonstrated the strong potential for student collaboration.
One of the key new features of the 2025 competition is that, in addition to three-member teams, two-member teams are now also allowed to apply. The creators of the best ideas will each receive a net scholarship of HUF 1.000.000. The competition offers students the opportunity to work on real, value-creating projects that may even be implemented in practice.
Building on the success of previous years, we are excited to see many of our talented student teams take on the challenge once again.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Benedek Tóth-Korsós for his inspiring and enthusiastic presentation, as well as for fostering a direct and motivating atmosphere.
