International conference on the challenges of the Carpathian Basin
The Faculty of Economics, Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania in Miercurea Ciuc is organizing the international conference Challenges in the Carpathian Basin 2025, which will take place between May 21–23, 2025. The aim of the event is to provide a platform for young researchers, university lecturers, and professionals to present and discuss the social, economic, environmental, and technological challenges affecting the Carpathian Basin.
Main topics:
The conference welcomes interdisciplinary presentations in fields such as economics, social sciences, environmental sciences, agricultural sciences, and engineering. The organizers primarily expect the participation of young researchers, PhD students, lecturers, and professionals.

Participation fees:

1 participant: 300 RON

2 participants with 1 presentation: 550 RON

1 participant + excursion: 450 RON

2 participants with 1 presentation + excursion: 850 RON
The participation fee includes publication in the abstract volume, coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner on May 22.
