Supplementary admission 2025: Széchenyi István University is accepting applicants for 62 programs
Széchenyi István University is once again offering an opportunity this year to those who were not accepted in the general admission process or have not yet attempted to enter higher education. Applications for the supplementary admission procedure can be submitted until August 7.

For the Business and Management program with a 2017 curriculum, the comprehensive exam grade is calculated as the simple average of the grades for the KGNB_GETM024/KGLB_GETM024 Financial Management and KGNB_NETM045/KGLB_NETM045 Business Analysis in Excel courses.

Our International scholarships

The Pannonia Scholarship Programme offers students of Széchenyi István University the opportunity to gain international experience through study, research, or internship abroad.
The programme supports both short- and long-term mobility, encouraging students to broaden their academic and professional horizons. It aims to strengthen international cooperation, enhance language and intercultural skills, and contribute to students’ personal growth and employability. Funded by the Hungarian government, the scholarship provides flexible and accessible options for students at all levels of study.

| Széchenyi István University pays special attention to supporting the mental health of its students, therefore it offers free and anonymous mental health counselling. Students can choose from a range of professionals, including mental health professionals, psychologists and clinical psychologists. It also organises group sessions, such as stress management relaxation courses and literacy therapy groups, which provide additional support for students. |
Students at Széchenyi István University have access to a wide range of sporting opportunities, whether competitive or recreational. The sports facilities provide a modern environment for active recreation. The University's Sports Pass gives students discounted access to these facilities, thus supporting a healthy lifestyle. The card also provides additional benefits for members of the sports community. |
The Career Office of Széchenyi István University offers comprehensive help to students and recent graduates in their job search. The site offers practical advice on writing CVs and cover letters, and preparing for job interviews. The Career Office also offers personal advice, mock interviews and training to help you find a successful job. Their aim is to support students to build a career and succeed in the labour market |

| The Language and Culture Centre of Széchenyi István University offers a variety of language learning opportunities, including language courses and language exam preparation courses. Students can improve their knowledge in German and English, either in professional language classes or in ORIGO-type preparation courses. | Széchenyi István University in Győr offers 42 English-taught programs from September 2024, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. It provides international double degrees with partners in the USA, Portugal, Italy, and India. The university has strong ties to industry, especially with Audi Hungaria. A new Science and Innovation Park is being built to boost research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. | Győr, located between Budapest and Vienna, is Hungary’s sixth-largest city and a key administrative and cultural center. | The university has seven dormitory buildings, five of which are on campus, providing housing for around 3,000 students. Rooms are typically double occupancy, and the newer K0 and K1 buildings offer modern two-room apartments with private bathrooms. Each corridor has communal kitchens and laundry facilities. International students can request accommodation in the new, well-equipped dorms designed to serve as a comfortable and inclusive home away from home. | Széchenyi István University offers a wide range of sports facilities for students. There is a modern Training Hall with a gym, and students can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, aerobics, pilates, and more. A large sports hall includes cardio and power rooms, while an off-campus center provides courts for various team sports. Students also have access to mirrored gyms, a martial arts room, and a swimming pool. Many residence halls are equipped with seasonal gyms as well. | Széchenyi István University operates several competence centres in fields like vehicle industry, digital development, health innovation, agriculture and food, business and management, globalization, and design.
