Supplementary admission 2025: Széchenyi István University is accepting applicants for 62 programs
Széchenyi István University is once again offering an opportunity this year to those who were not accepted in the general admission process or have not yet attempted to enter higher education. Applications for the supplementary admission procedure can be submitted until August 7.
Record number of applicants at Széchenyi University – Kautz Faculty is the second most popular
Based on the results of the 2025 general admission procedure, a total of 4,739 first-year students were admitted to Széchenyi István University. This is one of the highest admission numbers in the history of the institution, even though the minimum score requirements were raised for several programs.
We celebrated our recent graduates at the Gyula Kautz Faculty of Business and Economics
Széchenyi István University held its summer graduation ceremonies on July 18–19, where nearly 700 students received their diplomas. The two-day event marked the official farewell for graduates of the Audi Hungaria Faculty of Automotive Engineering, the Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transport Engineering, and the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics.
Digitalisation in tourism - CEPPUS Summer School
Széchenyi István University organised an international summer university focused on the digitalisation of tourism. The aim of the programme was to introduce students to the sustainable and innovative use of digital technologies in the tourism sector. During the summer university, Hungarian and foreign students worked together on various case studies and practical tasks.
