Conference on the future of artificial intelligence in Vienna

Organized by the Vienna Chamber of Commerce (Wirtschaftskammer Wien), a large-scale conference was held at the end of November 2024, titled “Wie viel Mensch verträgt die Zukunft?” or “How Much Is Humanity Needed for the Future?” As the title suggests, the focus was on the role of artificial intelligence. Our faculty was represented at the conference by Assistant Professor Dr. Ferenc Bakó.
Országos Pénzügyi Esettanulmányi Verseny – Second round – 30 January - 1 February 2025

Today marked the beginning of the second round of the National Financial Case Study Competition at Széchenyi István University. The participating teams started the program with registration, accommodation check-in, and an informal networking evening. From 19:00, free time was available for the competitors, followed by a welcoming event and dinner at the K0 conference hall at 20:00.

Education Committee of the Association of Hungarian Event Organizers and Providers

On the constitutive sitting of the new committee of the MaReSz, our institution was represented by Dr. Viktória Kundi, associate professor, Head of Department of Tourism and Hospitality. The event took place on the first day of the Educatio International Education Expo, on 09/01/2025. The objective of the Education Committee is to strengthen the cooperation between the joining institutions and the event branch, establishing formal framework to ensure a more efficient professional communication in order to develop education and to provide professional recruitment. The members of the committee are professionals with comprehensive expertise. The meeting offered a also good occasion for the participants to share their experiences with each other and to hold a brainstorming session for the future programmes.
