Our tourism and hospitality students at the World Tourist Guide Day
11 tourism and hospitality students participated in the opening event of the World Tourist Guide Day, thanks to the invitation of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event started with a professional panel discussion, where renowned experts shared their experiences on the challenges, future trends and the current state of tourism. Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to take a special boat tour of Budapest, where they could see the sights from a tour guide's point of view.

The students were accompanied by master teacher Anikó Husz and Head of Department Viktória Dr. Kundi, who highlighted that the event was not only a professional development event, but also a great networking opportunity. Participants were able to gain first-hand information on the future of tourism and the changing role of the tourist guide profession, which is particularly important in an ever-evolving industry.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to meet directly with respected representatives of the profession and to gain insights into the practical side of tourist guiding, an experience that will be a valuable orientation for their future careers.
