Strategic human resource planning - lecture by the HR Manager of Dana Hungary Ltd.

Mária Kovács-Gerő, HR Manager of Dana Hungary Ltd. and a graduate student of Széchenyi István University, gave a presentation on the challenges and opportunities of strategic human resource planning to students of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economics in the framework of the Human Resource Management course and provided a valuable insight into the world of modern HR strategies.

Dana Hungary Ltd. is one of the world's leading automotive suppliers. The company's Hungarian subsidiary plays a prominent role in the development of industry in Győr and the region and is involved in a number of innovative technological developments.

During the presentation, Mária Kovács-Gerő analyzed the importance of strategic human resource planning, the importance of adapting to long-term labor market trends and methods to increase organizational efficiency. She emphasized that a well-designed HR strategy contributes to maintaining the competitiveness of the company and increasing employee engagement.
Drawing on the experience of Dana Hungary Ltd., the HR manager stressed that workforce development and talent management programs are key factors for the success of the company. "Conscious planning and long-term sustainability of the company is one of the most important aspects of a modern HR strategy," said Mária Kovács-Gerő.

At the end of the lecture, students were asked questions that included how to improve workplace culture, adapt to changes in the labor market and interest in the company's apprenticeship programs. Participants agreed that such professional presentations help to develop practice-oriented training and to better understand the challenges of economic and business life.
