The Alumni and Well-being Center of Széchenyi István University is dedicated to building and supporting the alumni community, offering opportunities for graduates to stay connected with each other and with the university. The aim of alumni programs is to support graduates in their ongoing professional and personal development while encouraging active involvement in the university community.

Alumni Community and Events

The Alumni and Well-being Center provides graduates with the opportunity to join the alumni community, apply for an alumni card, and participate in reunions and events organized by the institution. Alumni Talk Podcast

The university’s Alumni Talk Podcast is a flagship initiative that brings alumni closer through inspiring stories, professional experiences, and engaging conversations. Graduation Ceremonies and Honorary Diplomas

Alumni of Széchenyi István University can access a variety of services designed to enhance convenience and support professional activities. These include:

The goal of the Alumni and Well-being Center is to build a supportive and active community for university graduates, helping them in their professional advancement, networking, and further education.

In line with the mission of Széchenyi István University, the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics also places a strong emphasis on supporting students' mental well-being. To this end, free and anonymous mental health and life management counseling is provided. A range of professionals are available to assist with various issues.

Our Specialists:

  • Mental Health Counselor – Mária Bogdányi: Works with psychologically healthy individuals who do not have a diagnosed mental illness. She offers support in dealing with difficult life situations, stress management, crisis resolution, self-awareness, and confidence building.

  • Psychologist – Tamás Bognár: A certified psychologist who conducts in-depth consultations and provides support in cases of burnout, grief, normative and accidental crises, and issues related to emotional and behavioral regulation.

  • Clinical Psychologist – Anna Lili Hujber: A licensed clinical psychologist treating individuals struggling with psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, OCD, panic disorders, eating disorders, and addictions.

Group Sessions:

  • Stress-Relief Relaxation Course: A three-session course where participants learn stress management techniques. Groups consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people, with the aim of managing daily stress more effectively.

  • Autogenic Training Course: This relaxation method helps both physically and mentally in stress reduction. The course includes 12 weekly 45-minute sessions, during which participants learn the technique through guided practice and homework.

  • Bibliotherapy Group: A self-awareness group where participants explore themselves through literary texts and gain new perspectives on life’s challenges. Sessions are held biweekly and require prior registration.
