Csaba Kőmíves PhD received an associate professor academic title

From April 1, 2025, Dr. Csaba Kőmíves will continue his work as Associate Professor. Csaba's goal is to actively participate in the state examination processes of the BSc in Tourism and Hospitality, and he would like to be able to offer more project-based courses in the renewed curriculum, which he can continue to teach.
Learning is not just a tool for her, it is a way of life - she believes in lifelong learning (LLL), while always being reliable and conscientious in her work.
Tourism is part of her everyday life, she is a member of the Hungarian National Gastronomy Association, she is in constant contact with external professional partners and even prepares students for competitions.

Szabolcs Rámháp PhD received an associate professor academic title

As of April 1, 2025 the number of associate professors of our department has been increased with Szabolcs Rámháp PhD. Szabolcs aims to actively contribute to the professional development of both the Faculty and the University – through his work in teaching, research, and academic engagement.
He places special emphasis on innovative teaching methodologies, practice-oriented education, and ensuring that research findings are effectively translated into real-world applications.
As a member of the Felsőoktatási és Ipari Együttműködési Központ (FIEK, Centre for University-Industry Cooperation), he also plays a role in strengthening the Faculty’s industrial relations. He supports colleagues in joining collaborative research projects and helps identify new grant opportunities and industry-based funding sources.
He maintains active partnerships with organizations such as the Vállalkozások Országos Szövetsége (VOSZ, Confederation of Hungarian Businesses) and Morgan Stanley, further enhancing the Faculty’s external collaborations.

Real Challenges, Real Solutions: The "Digital Wilderness" Project with Xantus János Zoo
Students majoring in Commerce and Marketing at Széchenyi István University are participating in a practice-oriented initiative titled Digital Wilderness as part of their Nonprofit and SME Marketing course during the spring semester. The aim of the project is to develop nonprofit marketing solutions for the Xantus János Zoo in Győr.

Conference Announcement - Eurasian PEACH Fusion 2025

Organized by the Eurasia Center of the John von Neumann University, the 8th Dawn of Eurasia Conference will be held on May 9, 2025, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. This spring, the Faculty of Humanities of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University will host the event, which will be held jointly with the PEACH Junior Conference under the name Eurasian PEACH Fusion Conference.
