How can you properly wrap up an academic year?

Of course—with an outdoor cookout, great company, and, naturally, a bubbling cauldron! This year, for the first time, our faculty hosted a communal “bogrács” cooking event—and to mark this debut, we managed to choose possibly the hottest Thursday afternoon of the year. But even the heat couldn’t dampen our spirits: many of us gathered to consciously and joyfully avoid work hours.

Széchenyi István University has reached another significant milestone in its ongoing education development programme, with a strong emphasis on high-quality, market-oriented education. At the event titled "Educational Innovations in Higher Education", special attention was given to the latest pedagogical methods, such as project-based learning and competence development.

From 29 to 31 October 2025, Corvinus University of Budapest will host the international conference of the International Association of Cross-Cultural Competence and Management (IACCM). The central theme of the event is: “Multicultural Teams and Multilingual Organisations: Challenges, Opportunities, Social Inclusion, and Sustainable Practices in the Digital Age.”
