Széchenyi István University has once again earned a place in one of the world’s most prestigious higher education rankings, the QS World University Rankings 2025, where it is listed in the 1001–1200 range. For the fifth consecutive year, the university has maintained its position on the international stage, ranking alongside globally renowned institutions such as MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Cambridge, and Oxford.

On 19–20 June 2025, our Faculty hosted several members of the Chinese editorial board of the Journal of Management Analytics (JMA), led by Prof. LI Yuan. The JMA is ranked Q1 according to Scopus/SSCI and is also included in the ABDC list.
Lean Training and Lean Coffee Supporting Waste-Free Business Operations
Széchenyi István University launched its lean specialist and lean manager postgraduate programs three years ago at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics. These programs focus on process improvement, cost-efficiency, and waste reduction. A key aim of the training is hands-on experience: with access to the university’s demonstration lab, simulated production lines, and company visits (such as Audi’s plant in Győr), participants gain real-world insights.
