Széll Kálmán Student Association's students visited the Paks Nuclear Power Plant on a study trip

The students of the Széll Kálmán College of Economic and Data Science at Széchenyi István University recently participated in a study trip, during which they visited Hungary's most significant nuclear facility, the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. The aim of the event was to provide students with first-hand knowledge about one of the key pillars of the country's energy production, as well as to expand their professional and scientific perspectives. During the visit, participants gained insight into the operation of the power plant, learned about the application of nuclear technology, and explored its economic and environmental aspects.
Introduction of Associate Professor Jewel Kumar Roy

Jewel Kumar Roy is a dedicated researcher and academic specializing in Financial Technology (FinTech), machine learning, and artificial intelligence in finance. Currently, he is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Statistics, Finances and Controlling at Széchenyi István University, where he is also pursuing his PhD at the Doctoral School of Regional and Business Administration Sciences.
Towards the future with new teaching methods

The Széchenyi István University has organized its training development conference for the third time, aiming to showcase educational innovations and outline future directions. The event covered topics such as the advantages of the university ecosystem, the role of competency assessments, project-based education, and initiatives supporting student socialization.
