Széchenyi István University has awarded Dr. Adrienn Dernóczy-Polyák, Associate Dean of the Kautz Gyula Kautz Faculty of Business and Economics, Associate Professor, with a prestigious award. The István Bakonyi Excellent Educator Award is given in recognition of high quality teaching activities that greatly support the success of students.

We held our second Tourism Club of the spring semester on 5 March 2025. The presentation was preceded by an exhibition opening, where Anikó Husz, lecturer of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, and Dr. Sándor Remsei, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, welcomed the participants.

This year, nearly 12,000 young people applied to Széchenyi István University, representing a 15.9% increase compared to 2024, significantly exceeding the national average growth rate.

Széchenyi István University and the Xantus János Zoo in Győr have signed an official cooperation agreement to strengthen their collaboration in multiple areas. The partnership aims to provide students with hands-on experience while also supporting the zoo’s scientific and educational activities.
