International conference on the challenges of the Carpathian Basin

The Faculty of Economics, Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania in Miercurea Ciuc is organizing the international conference Challenges in the Carpathian Basin 2025, which will take place between May 21–23, 2025. The aim of the event is to provide a platform for young researchers, university lecturers, and professionals to present and discuss the social, economic, environmental, and technological challenges affecting the Carpathian Basin.
Project Conference 2025 – Sustainability in Education and Upbringing

Titled "Sustainability: Conscious Upbringing and Education", Project Conference 2025 provides a professional platform for presenting educational and pedagogical practices, research, and experiences that promote sustainability.
Tourism expert at the Tourism-management MSc course

On 17. March 2025. Ágnes Crovát, PhD student, tour guide gave a lecture entitled „The Budapest-Vienna-Prague triangle, From the point of taking a river cruise” at the “Tourist Routes in International Tourism” course led by Dr. Ferenc Darabos and Dr. Erzsébet Printz-Markó. Students gained interesting insights into the practical challenges of organising river cruises.

Events of the Concrete Ship Project by the Department of Tourism and Hospitality: workshop

On 19. March 2025. Tibor Laposa, the head of Bringa Mánia Győr, held a workshop in the framework of the Town Management Exercise. The focus of the group work was on the integration of the Ásványráró concrete boat into cycling tourism programmes and the possibilities of regional management cooperation.
